Establishing a food bank network was deemed vital by the founding members of It Rains Food Bank who analyzed the increase & depth of hunger among low income city dwellers. In order to effectively tackle hunger, systemic & organized mobilization of resources is paramount. The corner stones for setting up the first food bank in Ethiopia
Establishing a food bank network was deemed vital by the founding members of It Rains Food Bank who analyzed the increase & depth of hunger among low income city dwellers. In order to effectively tackle hunger, systemic & organized mobilization of resources is paramount. The corner stones for setting up the first food bank in Ethiopia was in the works for the past five years to put in place a working system ensuring no one goes to bed with an empty stomach.
